Problems and Reported Issues

Unable Unable to locate "user.":

Unable to find user at "IDLIN/C3N." This issue is common among users of the service. Typically this states that the user account you entered in is either incorrect and is not a part of the ID Link database.

Connection failed:

A connection fail is often found with applications of special uses, as an example a connection fail will be seen within applications like "Storeroom" and "Systems and Servers." This error cannot be prevented due to the demand on the internet connectivity of the user. It is advised that the user check his/her firewall and antivirus software encase of a blockage from either two. Please also check for internet connectivity and "Channel3network.com" website access.

ID Link services timed out:

As explained above, for some ID Link based applications a message may show if a problem has occurred. In this instance, if a user was trying to connect to the server and was not able to in a period of 0 to 25 seconds then a timeout message will display. It is advised that the user check his/her firewall and antivirus software encase of a blockage from either two. Please also check for internet connectivity and "Channel3network.com" website access.

ID link will not allow me to use the USB Identification passport or stick:

Check for the following

  • USB recognition by your operating system
  • A file inside your USB named "rpa.3dat"
  • ID Link USB passport support
